• Type: Historic Residential Townhouse, 6 levels, 15,000sf
• Engagement: June 2022 to April 2024 (22 months)
• Total Budget: $4.2 million USD

This beautiful 1915 Upper East Side landmarked townhouse was once actress Gwyneth Paltrow’s childhood home. Purchased by the Khan family in 2021, it was renovated into their new home over a two year project. This partial gut renovation includes two new master bathrooms and closets, a newly created Playroom and Gym space on the upper floor, a replacement of the entire home mechanical system, and cosmetic changes throughout to luxury finishes.

Challenges included replacing the entire home gas system (dating back to 1915) thru new NYC DOB filings and creating a brand new street connection with Con Edison, and ever changing project scope due to unforeseen conditions after demolition was complete.

Since 2018, Principal of Arcobee Osman Dadi has built over 33 projects and over $240 million in project value in the New York City metropolitan region.

Some of his pre-Arcobee achievements include:

• The renovation of the legendary Powerstation music studio in New York City at 441 west 53rd Street, now home of the Berklee College of Music New York campus.
• A 110,000sf three story commercial renovation at 60 Columbus Circle that won the 2024 NYCxDesign award for Large Corporate Office, in partnership with TPG Architecture and JT Magen.
• Three projects completed at 375 Park Avenue, the Seagram Building, Mies Van Der Rohe’s masterpiece.
